Our church will be participating in this year’s Hats Off Day! The Heights Merchants Association has themed this year’s Hats Off Day “Under The Big Top”.

And so, our church booth hopes to offer our community in Burnaby Heights an opportunity to celebrate the things about Burnaby Heights that brings them joy! As we invite guests to share from their own lives, the hope is that “joy” becomes a connection point between us and them as a faith community, distinguished by the joy we have in Christ.

This is where we need your collaboration. As Hats Off Day is a non-partisan event, our participation is not about evangelizing to guests that come to our booth.

Instead, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to welcome others, listen well, and celebrate with them. There are different ways that you can volunteer to help make this happen: helping with a circus hat craft, facilitating a carnival game or photobooth, and of course, talking with guests who come to our booth!
